Happy Monday folks!!

The last 12 months have probably been the most challenging times in relation to my business however I took some time last week to reflect on my journey and I realised that I have built something that I’m very proud of and could never give up.

Over the last few months, I have seen many small businesses closing down their operation and it’s very sad to see as I know they have worked just as hard, and for something out of their control like Covid-19 to close them down for good must be so hard to deal with.

The government are working hard along with all those on the frontline to try and fight this and keep us all safe and well. I also understand there is not always enough money to go around so some sectors and businesses have to suffer which is unfair however constantly moaning about it isn’t going to change it.

The entertainment industry including all those in the wedding industry just would like to know how things will look later this year if things start to improve with the “R” rate, alongside the vaccine roll out as couples would really like to have an idea if their big day could go ahead. The effect of not knowing the roadmap for the year ahead can lead to panic, uncertainty and couples postponing or worst, they end up cancelling their special day which has a huge impact for everyone, especially the small wedding suppliers in the industry.

We now have a range of vaccines on the market and things are starting to move again which means there is now some light at the end of the tunnel. Keep safe everyone and look after the people around you. I am sure that the next time we all get to go out dress up nice, have a few drinks, chat to people and dance the night away, will feel like the big night out on New Years Eve every party you go to so can’t wait for that day to come!

Stay safe,

Dean John
